I hear you, feels like we're playing one dimensional snakes and ladders right now.

Just tell Liverpool we won't entertain offers for Isak until we've signed Ekitike then sign him and reject all bids. Cunts

I was thinking the same, it perfectly clears the way for them not to gazump us on Ekitike.

The fact that historically we just aren't allowed to have nice things is pretty much the only thing worrying me about this whole scenario now.

Isak and Ekitike was just too good to be true so yeah obviously there had to be a sting in the tail.

Sounds like we've told Liverpool to fuck off regarding Isak, according to Edwards and Keith Downie. Probably means we're now priced out of the Ekitike deal though. Who do you think is next on the list for us now that we've missed out on Pedro and Ekitike?

There won't be a lot of money in the market, but this is very clearly not a non story when there's always shrewdies about with more information than the average punter betting on the right side of it. Not saying it guarantees anything, just pointing out it's hardly bedwetting to have concern about something happening that the bookies have priced up as a coinflip (Liverpool now 4/6 and us 6/5).

Marc Guehi was about 1/10 to sign for us last summer

Isak might go but fuck taking anything away from betting odds when if comes to transfers

Doesn't say offered 120 mill. Says he is worth 120 million.

Says it in the tweet after that one doesn't it?

Edit: nope it doesn't, I was wrong.

As if people believe anything Edwards makes up for clicks.

We bid on Pedro first, but Ekitike is our "number one transfer target". Its all bollocks. "flex" "power move"... Edwards must think we are stupid.

I'm still celebrating because two actual bids mean our Callum Wilson replacement budget is in the region of 70M pounds. You'd have been laughed at for suggesting that on here three weeks ago.

Sorry but there’s zero chance that one of the best strikers in the world wants to go to the English league champions and perennial European contenders Liverpool, and other such rational thoughts that won’t make me look like a dickhead this time next week.
