Clubs Isak is allowed to sign for when he eventually leaves: Bayern, PSG, Real and Barca.

I'd allow them a cheaper deal if necessary, to prevent him going directly from us to another PL club.

The club only needs to make sure of 2 things:

He doesn't leave on a free.

He doesn't sign for another PL club.

Ideally we get him a new contract and a gentleman's agreement that when the time comes and one of the above clubs comes calling, we will let him leave with dignity and as a club legend.

It's really worth noting the Liverpool historically dont sign players of Isaks level. They sign players who become great players, VVD, Salah etc but notmally when there is a stellar player on the radar the player normally chooses someone else, just like Bellingham.

£150mil is still cheap - £200mil or f*** off

200 is the price for me but there is no point in selling him to another Premier League team at any price.  If next summer he goes to Real or Barca for 200 million then fine.  I could live with that.

If Mitchell hadn't blocked offering him a new contract this would be a none story

Should be easy to smooth the situation over. Charm him and his agent, offer him a good contract and explain that Mitchell was bonesaw'd for his insolence.

He still has 3 years left. How often new contracts are signed when there is still 3,5–4 years left?

Isak himself said new contract will be a matter of this summer.

Is it too late tho? Has his head been turned?
