I'm pretty sure this is more related to his groin not being 100% yet, however it'll mean he'll not have much game time prior to the season starting.

Doubt he'll move away as i don't see any club being able to afford him. but these next few games are a good chance for Osula to show he can get a place in the side.

Mateee. Love your optimism, but Howay… .

If (and it’s a bloody big if) he’s genuinely injured and has had this injury since after the cup final. Questions need to be asked why he didn’t have an operation during the summer.

He's mates with Botman so I heard. Don't do surgery crew is the name of gang.

People need to calm down about Isak leaving, that’s not the case.

What people need to be losing their shit over is yet again another played down ‘minor’ injury which we know won’t be the case. Guy will be going under knife and out for like 3 months.

Surely they just take him with them even with injury to keep him in the squad and quash rumours.

He's away. Most likely Saudi at least.

If he's away he's going to the dippers and nowhere else. It's as clear as day.

The Geordie Journos yesterday said he had been for a scan and it has been cleared as ok, so someone is lying

If it's Isak then he needs to be held to his contract and left out of the team until he sees sense.

We do seem to be a bit of a mess at the minute, this won't help. Either situation with this is bad, if he is injured we currently have no other striker. If he is fit, then he is trying to force a move. No idea how we have gotten to this, after the positive feelings at the end of last season.

Not unless they stump up some pretty massive cash. They can take their £120m and shove it up their arse.

What I don’t understand is why now. If he really want that Liverpool move, do it before the Ekitike deal got finalised. Now Liverpool doesn’t have the money and we don’t have the replacement.

He absolutely fucked us up this time

It's the "minor injury" part which sets off my suspicion of the club statement. Minor in the same way Joelinton and Hall's injuries are minor...

As much as the club haven't inspired confidence this window, in a sense there's not much they can do, can't offer top wages, can't radically improve the squad to match Isak's trajectory. Shackled and hindered at every turn leading to only my growing apathy at the current state of top level football.

That's actually not what they meant.

They said hes been nursing a thigh problem, had a scan which didnt turn up anything serious but it was enough for him to not be with the main group.

They guessed he'd be going to Asia but it was just a guess.

IMO the club would have been smart to make him travel.

Hypothetically, how much does the club need to sell him for to make a big markup for PSR reasons?

Must have about 40/45m left on his book value? So tag on another what? 85/90m to make it worthwhile? Could barely cover the rest of the summer if they get it wrong.

Its becoming increasingly obvious that we are dreadful at handling transfers and get played at every opportunity. If he's off it will be for about £135m to dipperpool.
