From NUFC fan sites or the odd YouTube tactics blogger, not the UK’s supposedly impartial broadcaster.

I literally prefaced it with dunno about the bbc. I’m sure talksport we’re talking about it. The bbc often put out stuff again in almost certain they had a thing with Guehi in our line up last season.

regardless not something I’m arsed about it’s all about shovelling out as much content as possible these days.

In the real world that's not likely. Do you really see a scenario where we have all three on our books?

Probably not, but who knows what Eddie wants, if the scouse don't make an acceptable mega-offer Isak stays either way.

Tbf everything including future signings depends on what our decision is on Isak. We have no idea at this point, the club are keeping mum on it.

Winning the league cup is fine and well, but a player like Isak wants league titles and chance at winning the CL. He sees what we all see, that this ”project” has slowed down. Add that he was promised a new contract that Mitchell then dismissed. Unfortunately it’s not hard to see a player like Isak in his prime wanting to leave this club at this time. It’s just infuriating if it’s Liverpool.

Considering conspiracy theories is it possible the top 6 cartel instructed Agent Mitchell to ensure we failed to strengthen our squad by advising the cartel what we were offering our targets so they could hijack our deals and to undermine Isak by reneging on his promised pay rise.  Then tasks achieved hand in resignation!!!

True, so's Isak tbh, all the noise is media.

We've said not for sale and I would think Isak's been told same.

It'll all come out in the wash.

How on gods green earth can you consider it's slowed down, we've just had our best season in living memory, we're way ahead of the curve.

If anything is going to possibly slow us down it's Isak himself, more of a derailment than a slow down tbh.

That seems obvious. No signings for 3 windows and only one this window, with most targets going elsewhere. On top of that there is a deafening silence on the ground and on the training ground

Just because someone gives you a little rope doesn’t mean you should be a twat. It’s like blaming your parents for your own mistakes in life.

That's why he should have been told to go and if he refused then fined.

Or lots of people are desperately searching for an alternative narrative because the reality of the position is so unpalatable.

I’ve made my peace with the fact he wants to go. But the way this has all played out has been incredibly unusual.

Should play Liverpool at their own game. If they want Guehi on a free next year we should go slap a £40m offer into Palace now and force them into buying him this summer and therefore having less funds to put towards Isak bid.

Guehi would probably tell us to fuck off as he's likely already been promised big wages by them.

Which would be funny seeing Parish have to keep a player going for nothing for a year.

I'm sort of over this now, if he doesn't want to be here, fuck him. It'll hurt when he scores against us, but we'll move on. Might end up actually bringing the other players together a bit more

Yeah. It’s just the nature of being at the top of English football, something we all forgot about when Ashley was in charge. Think Suarez and Arsenal, Nasri, Modric, Bale, seemingly Kane every year. Well move on. He’ll have some stormers against us and some nightmares. It’s football.

Though waiting until Howe was at other end of the country (literally talking about a transfer the day they flew out) marks Isak out as a bit of a cunt.

Why was there no signings in 3 windows?

Its not because PIF aren't bothered, its because PSR stopped us.

One could argue that they could be doing more to circumvent PSR rules like Chelsea have done, fine but ultimately they have hired other people to run the club and they've decided that's not the way to do it.

Diaz the first domino to fall then we reckon?

I'm braced for piercing agony followed by a somehow even more intense desire for us to absolutely bot the fuck out of anyone in front of us. 🇸🇮🇨🇩

I think Ramsdale is that as we have more funds to spend elsewhere
