Emotic
I hope Yasir and the board are reading these tweets, with their faces getting redder and redder with rage with each passing outrageous tweet. Strengthen our resolve not to sell and, even better, not to do Liverpool any favours whatsoever. Buy a good second striker, strengthen everywhere else quickly, tell Isak to get in shape and get his mind sorted (and no promises of a sale next season either, cos of his fuckery). Play whoever shows the most commitment and desire, make him fight for his place. Rooney, Suarez and Kane all had stellar seasons (Rooney for seven more) for their clubs after they tried this tactic and failed. Just show some spine and demonstrate that we are not to be fucked with.

That tweet should be shoved in Isak's face when he droops in for training on Monday. "That's how much the thieving cunts value you Alex!"

GEFAFWISP
I'd split me banjo string for a video of Joelinton first meeting with Isak on Monday when they're back in training.

Groundhog63
You'd think a set of supporters so historically tied to the correct side of history wouldn't touch a scab with a barge pole 🤔 but, as we know, they're flexible.
Ben
We've got a month to string them along before refusing their last bid on deadline day

alexf
It has all felt very back to front hasn't it? Need to know the full story but if Isak really wants to move and if Liverpool really wanted him. Surely everything should have been started the moment the season ended. The fact Isak waited til everyone already signed new strikers to announce he wants to leave and then for Liverpool to spend buckets full this summer including a lesser striker and someone we wanted that would have eased our stance on Isak before they even bid for him is just so bizarre. Something doesn't quite add up.

KaKa
Wow ... pretty surprised by the turn of events! Probably means we're going to have a wasted season with that git acting a dunce, but might be worth it for the Liverpool tears! If only we could just get in a striker good enough to lead the line and do the business while he sits on the bench that would be so perfect man. I know it seems counterintuitive to argue that we should sell our best players as a means of moving forward, but that’s clearly the case with Isak (and something we have to consider with all our purples). Unless something drastic changes, we’re getting one more season out of Isak at most and the calculus necessarily changes. One more season and then a move abroad is fine and would have kept his legacy and status with us intact. The way him, his cock of an agent and those red cumsocks have gone about this changes the game. No matter what, no matter the price they offer, never sell to those entitled, plastic, 'hertfordshire scouse', pieces of distended polar bear rectum. 1881
Don’t believe that Liverpool will not be back with a second bid, they are just pissing us about and keeping the pot boiling. They will know this is their best chance of a free run at Isak. Wouldn’t be surprised to see Isak do a Wissa too. Sibierski
If Liverpool don’t come back in for a 2nd bid, it still leaves the door open for us to do a PR overdrive to bring Isak back into the fold

Shearer9
Isak still has cover to come back to the fold. Even without a new contract. I was injured, just needed to see the personal trainer, nobody from the club publicly criticized me, etc. everyone will know that’s not the full story but there is at least some room for him to come back in now if the 2 sides are truly far apart in their evaluation

My logic says we have known for a quite a while that he wants to leave but he have been told to shut up about it but Isak lost his cool after the Ekitike and decided to not be quiet about it anymore. In fact right now I'd rather we get an underhyped striker who we can pretend to be Wilson's replacement, rather than a young overhyped one like Sesko, which would no doubt start the paid journos off on a deliberate series of speculative tweets again "Newcastle willing to let Isak go after signing his replacement!".
