But IF Eddie wants him gone then if we can get Wissa in, CB,CM and a n other striker, we’ll be good. He’ll make sure of that. Will be nice to draw a line under this and kick on. I wouldn't allow him to stay in the prem though and if someone doesn't come in with an appropriate off then he can continue training alone for the rest of the season. ExiledGeordie
So is he effectively on strike then after the latest Howe quotes?
Lush Vlad
I look forward to the Prem hatchet men getting stuck into him/injuring when he signs for Liverpool. Caicedo, Joelinton, Romero, Yates, Tarkowski. Does O’Nien still play for sunderland?!

Paully
According to a recently departed player, Isak downed tools after the final both in training and matches - he’s done here. He also pulled out of both Liverpool and Arsenal away last season. I’m astonished as he seemed a good egg. It’ll be up there if not worse than Owen’s ovation when he comes back to SJP. Shit-house. Alberto2005
Why would he have pulled out of Liverpool away when it was mid season and before the final?
J7
He deserves all the negative reaction he gets from us when he goes. His behaviour has been unforgivable. Fuck him.

To be fit for the final. Less bothered about that but, if what Paully is saying from the player is true, he’s effectively shirked trying to get us 2nd in the league. The absolute wanker. Kid Icarus
Don't think I've ever held on to so much loathing of a player and a football club as I do right now and not know where to put it. I wouldn't mind if I saw us standing tall in the face of it all, but I feel like we've done nothing but capitulate and pander to it. One thing's for sure, if the chips on our shoulders could be directly converted into positive energy we'd win everything this season. JeffJ
One of our biggest strengths is that Howe has built a close knit squad with a strong leadership group who self police a lot of internal matters. For Isak to be isolated from the group speaks volumes about his actions and what he has told the club about his future intentions. This whole episode has shown Isak’s true character, if he stays then we’d get a worse version of the half arsed player who pouted at the start of the season and barely turned up in the last two months of the season. r0cafella
I mentioned when this first came out that he might have been faking the injury as when you take the rose tinted class off it didn't add up.
