Putting the completely understandable emotional aspect of our star player acting the cunt aside… It’s the angle of the reporting, in that it’s all pretty much coming from Isak’s side with the intention of driving the price down for Liverpool.

Dunno why I’ve bothered responding properly tbh.

[emoji38] its such a blatant £ plug from Isak's camp. Feed the 'best' journo out there with a 'won't play' bomb

So....what's the maximum fine someone would cop for refusing to play whilst under contract? I am harbouring some sort of dream where he gets fat on Greggs while earning one-tenth his salary for the next three years. And then leaves on a free whilst his leg muscles have atrophied from lack of conditioning. We can afford 12,500 a week to have him mope around.[emoji38]

I'm loathe to believe he would ever say 'I'll never play for Newcastle again'

That's quite the statement when you're trying to get the club to let you move on. Most fans, apart from the entitled scouse cunts, will see him as a spoilt child. It should even be a red flag to Liverpool man.

Absolute dickhead.

It's being talked about in work here. It's a big story.

I'm just saying I don't understand why Ornstein is getting hate for reporting it on it. He has to.

Fans of cartel clubs don’t understand it. They see it one way only.

This feels like pure desperation from Isak and his agent. I want him gone as much as anyone, but it has to be on our terms. The next inevitable lowball bid from Liverpool should be rejected outright, regardless of what he wants. Everything we’ve heard suggests he won’t be sold this summer, and that stance needs to hold.

We need to look to sell him next summer when the market will likely be far more favourable. A loan to a European club for the rest of this season could keep him out of our plans while protecting his value.

Next summer, with Bayern, PSG, and Barcelona all likely in the market for a forward, competition should drive his price up. Liverpool know this, which is why they’re pushing these tactics through Isak and his agent — but we can’t let them dictate the terms.

Meanwhile the emotional rollercoaster of NO is following the media wave pattern

I definitely rose to the bait with a knee jerk reaction when I seen it like

Thankfully the club won't change their stance... They won't. They won't.

Because he’s clearly being briefed from the LFC side and his agenda clearly

fits a particular narrative (engagement bait). This window has been an education in how the Breakaway Bandit clubs use client media; really enlightening and disheartening at the same time.

I think a fair chunk of the genuine fans of Liverpool see it that way. It’s just the Twitter and TT (mostly Irish) lot that seem to be ignoring his attitude.

We need to hold firm and only sell if we get 2 strikers in AND get the price we're after for him. If we cave in and sell for cheaper that sends a message to all the players that they can do exactly the same if they ever fancy a move away.

Make the cunt play U21s football for a season the little rat.

I was going to say the same thing... however...

Isn't it interesting that Ornstein never reports the club side of the narrative?

His tone and story is always a one of a journalist who's got a vested interest in the transfer happening, as opposed to reporting the neutral viewpoint.

I do agree that if hes given information, he has to run it though.

Literally I think we will [emoji38]

You just know Bruno, Gordon, Joelinton, Burn, Schar, Trippier, are all going to be livid about this situation and absolutely fired up going into that game.

I'm also picturing Howe giving a speech to the player pre-match like he did against Man United in the 4th season, using this whole situation as only motivation the squad needs.

Mate, you're defending Liverpool here. What the fuck are you, a Man United fan, doing? Join the hate train with us

I'm defending fuck all. I absolutely hate this shit from players and agents and think it's a disgrace.

That being said, whether it's come from Isak's camp or not, it's obviously true. In this case it's literally Ornstein's job to report it, as it's big news in the world of football.

But aye, fuck Liverpool and fuck Isak. You lot deserve better than this.

Since Twitter started paying for interactions. The likes of he and the Italian prick have repeated the same shit over and over again. Knowing certain fans will lap it up each time.
