Yes, it derails the start of our season, but get a decent striker in like Wissa then hopefully not too badly. 

 

He'll end up playing for a lot of next season here, is my guess. We can't loan him or sell him to Saudi or anywhere now without a similar replacement, of which there aren't any I can think of.

 

The thing I won't forgive him for is causing this disharmony in the squad and disrupting the rest of our transfer planning.

Yep. Isak’s team have sat down after they got a bit of a battering in yesterday’s PR “round” so have swung back early morning to change the news cycle again. Predictable stuff. Hence why as a club we should not rise to it.

I have so much hate towards Liverpool. Always despised them. I’m not going to put it in writing what I wish for them, but I cheer every single bad thing that happens to them and hope they cease to exist one day. Soner rather later. 
They can take those twitter cnuts with them in the fall as well.

Putting the completely understandable emotional aspect of our star player acting the cunt aside… It’s the angle of the reporting, in that it’s all pretty much coming from Isak’s side with the intention of driving the price down for Liverpool.

From the euphoria of Wembley and some of the outrageous goals he’s scored and the moments he’s brought us over the years. To just downing tools and carrying on like a spoilt brat. 
 

Jenas and Owen are nowhere near comparable when you factor in popularity and ability. Jose Enrique the same. 

 

Maybe there are cases further back and also before my time that are similar. But there wasn’t a 24/7 news cycle and social media. So it would have been much harder to keep track of.

Its the obvious co-ordinated efforts between Liverpool, Isak's agent and these media people that many take offence to. It's done to drive a narrative to ultimately deliver a desired outcome for the player.

That's obviously going to piss us off, surely thats clear?

He’s getting hate because he’s been contacted by the players agent/Liverpool to drive NUFC’s price down to force a sale. He’s doing their dirty work out in the open and most certainly getting compensated for it.

Ugh. This is infuriating. We’ll probably cave now to a lowball offer if one comes in soon. I’d hate every second of it, but he’s clearly trying to force our hand; and with the media piling on, it feels like we’re getting completely steamrolled in this standoff.

I think as much as anything we need to hold firm here to make sure other players don’t go about trying to force a move in the same way.

 

The likes of Tino and Tonali we might see the absolute top clubs come prowling for in the coming years. We need to make it very clear that going down a path like the one Isak is choosing is not smart.
