There was a story yesterday that Barcelona were pissed off with Sesko because they expected to be in for him next year.

So there's the answer.  Barcelona give us Ferran Torres and £80m, plus some add-ons, we give them some favourable payment terms so they can afford it this year and Isak gets his actual dream move.

Everyone wins except for Liverpool.

Happy with fees paid over 10 fucking years as long as its a good fee overall and out the country. Then we can totally forget him and move on.

Believe it or not. Not every Liverpool fan is like that potato headed shouty Irish fella and a lot of the foreign fans that frequent social media.

Most of the ones I know have been against his carry on, can see the way it will play out in the future with him and a few are even against the signing because of his actions.

As allways, if he goes and starts banging in the goals for them it will all be forgotten.

So Ferran Torres is costing the equivalent of 70 million? Haddaway man

Anyone thinking Liverpool will not come back on with an improved offer will almost certainly be wrong, everyone are still getting their ducks in a row.

Apart from us. We're nowhere near close to replacing him

Whoever we sign as a replacement. You think he still plays for us after this? Think he cares enough to give his all? You're mad to think the preferred option is to have him sulk around the pitch given half the effort while his team work their arses off.

I think a moody Isak for a season and then selling him when we have a new SD and a new list of targets might be the way to go.

I think if we’d landed Sesko, Isak would have been shipped out by now. But with Pedro, Ekitike and Sesko all gone elsewhere maybe we don’t just settle for someone who was way down our list.

Anderson/Vlacccahahadidymous?

That’s my point, instead of a player swap we would be agreeing to buy each others players in two separate deals. So if we wanted Torres as part of an Isak deal, instead of it being £80m+Torres, it would be them buying Isak for £130m and in return we buy Torres for £50m.

Apparently Romano has deleted a fair few of his tweets in relation to Isak.

Interesting if true, can’t be arsed going through em like but would add credence to Liverpool having to muzzle their media bitches.

Or covering his humiliation a la SpaceNonce Burnsie.

He tweeted about a thousand times so will be hard to tell if true.

Exactly this. He simply can’t be trusted anymore. The only real reason to keep him is to get it up the scousers.

if true it suggests we are trying to do a deal with Liverpool in private

Spooky. Been at it for years. We’re just noticing now because we’re at the top table.

Fab has been a shill for years.

All the big media ITKs get paid handsomely by agents to push their clients' agenda.

Depending on which tweets have been deleted tbf. For example that tweet two days ago in which he confidently predicted that a second Liverpool bid was imminent- if tweets of that nature have been culled, it might suggest that Liverpool won’t be bidding, etc. I’m not going to go on that platform to dissect his twitter activity though, too much of a toxic cesspit.

How does it suggest that ? To me it suggests he is getting rid of some stuff in the name of self preservation if things dont happen, see Ornstein saying Isak would stay.

Fwiw I wouldn't be at all surprised if there had been dialogue through intermediariesbut that need not mean making a deal as much g as 'whats your position'
