As far as the decision to act out itself goes, I agree. But it’s not Isak’s job to be dictating the specifics of the media strategy and that strategy has been terrible.

Isak's an intelligent guy and is in no way some wet behind the ears young kid who's just starting his career. He's already played in multiple countries and played for multiple clubs and knows exactly how this game goes, to even start to pretend he's been 'badly advised' by his agent is utter pigshit, Isak has willingly gone into this with his eyes wide fucking open, he knows exactly what he's doing and the consequences of it too. All he's done this last month is show the entire footballing world what a monumental cunt he actually is. Most neutral fans now think he's a piece of shit, his own fans hate him, Liverpool fans are now very suspicious of him and most pundits are saying he's being a cunt too. He's got no-one to hide behind for this, he's the one in the spotlight and he's the one who's gone along with it every step of the way. how do you know he’s an intelligent guy? He might be thick as whale spunk for all we know.

Isak has played this like the classic tale of the gambler chasing his losses.

 

I'm sure his agent put the feelers put to other clubs while we're were negotiating his new deal and that's when Liverpool said they'd be happy to pay him the 300k a week or whatever it was. Slight problem with that though, Liverpool aren't willing to pay our asking price, so the agent advises Isak to rattle our cage, agitate for a move, brief the cartel fluffing journos near enough hourly and wait until we succumb to the pressure. We still hold our ground, Isak goes full scorched earth, pissing off our manager, squad and fanbase in the process but Liverpool and their cartel friends have bought up all our potential replacements, Liverpool are spending more money fixing other areas of their squad leaving even less funds in the Isak bank. Isak still won't climb down though and has committed the cardinal sin of going on strike, so now not only do our fans think he's a cunt, neutrals and even Liverpool fans have slammed his behaviour as snakey.

His agent is clearly a dodgy scumbag but Isak is the one who has been pulling the strings the whole time.

His agent has been barred from working with clubs in Holland and Sweden for being a bent cunt. He was involved in dodgy conduct with abramovich. He’s apparently a bit of a heavy fucker. 
maybe isak is actually a bit fucking dim and being manipulated, intimidated, whatever. Fact is, no fucker knows for sure. Maybe arbitrarily deciding he’s being a dickhead is evidence of a lack of critical thinking? 
and his agent clearly is Newcastle’s problem because he’s got a major influence on the process and outcome.

I can believe all of that tbh. A few facts to back it up would be nice to help to form a bit of context but I'd agree that his agent is also a piece of shit
