As long as the window is open we will see no change in his stance.

They, Isak and agent, have chosen a path, and are committed to see it out.

So it’s a game to see who blinks first. Both parties have a lot to lose.

Just out of curiosity I would prefer us to keep him, let’s see how it plays out. Risky.

To be fair, Liverpool are the only involved part with more upsides than downsides atm. Cunts.

If he stays, he’ll be getting like Osula minutes up to Jan. The new striker will be primary guy, Isak will be coming on for a few mins when game is gone (either as a win or a defeat).

I don't know what will happen but this simply can't happen.

Booed every time he subs on?

Liverpool can’t be seen to win with this deal. I remain confident PIF will rinse them for at least 150 million if it happens.

They won't bid that, mind. They'll want to be seen like they've fucked us over/have an ego which shows they're the bigger club

I think they may shift him for the unity of the squad. I just hope we extract maximum value from them.

Perhaps we keep him and flog him to Saudi after the deadline as their window remains open longer. He gets to play until they can move him on to Liverpool or where ever he ends up. Probably pie in the sky stuff that though.

In my view - only a sale to a club outside the PL is acceptable before the window shuts. We should probably accept a 130m bid from such a club. If we are forced to sell to Liverpool this week because Eddie and the team requires it - the only way to somehow save face is to structure the deal so that we can publicly say that the transfer price is +150 million. That would allow the club to claim a partial victory.

I think if we get 2 in the door they’re a bit more desperate for a forward than is being made out. PIF don’t need the money and we can really play hard ball to the final hours of the window if needed.

Last resort he rots.

Whatever happens, I'm just glad by this time next week we'll have a conclusion. Fucking tired of it all quite honestly.

Fully expect the club to do what's best for us first and foremost, if that means keeping him, buying another striker whilst he reintegrates, so be it.

I'd much rather that, sell him to the continent next Summer and we all win.

If he does play for us again, it'll be an interesting moment. Nothing less than toxic boos if he were to come off the bench please.

Buy two strikers, loan him to Saudi for a year then cash in next summer.

I know he supposedly rejected advances from there but we’ll see what happens when the deadline here passes and it’s either that or a year training alone.

Think this is our best practical option and one that all fans would accept

Is there any good reason to sell him permanently now rather than doing this?

Seems like it’ll work out well for us financially while also giving this cunt the middle finger.

Absolutely zero sense to sell him at under his value to a rival who is the main reason we’re in this position. I’d sell permanently if there was an option outside the premier league for £130m but otherwise the best option is to keep and loan him out and he can reflect on how clever he is when he’s at Al-Hilal

He was the Rocky IV crowd, I reckon. How could he not have been won over by the fight and spirit of his old friends.

I do think Howe was being sincere about him being a likeable chap until all this.

wonder if he cheered their winner.

I'm calling bullshit. Unless he smuggled himself into the away end, there's absolutley no chance he has the Niagras to show his face in the North East while all this is going on let alone in the bear pit of SJP!

Agree, the club would have told him to stay away

Agree this is the best approach, could do it just to January to see if it generates either remorse from the player or a bid from a foreign CL team who bring forward summer plans due to injuries etc
