Hope we keep him, that he has a great season and that he scores against Liverpool in the return fixture to win us the game. Liverpool take it personally a buy him for £150m in the summer on a 6 year contract. He breaks down in the opening game, starting a series of muscle injuries that will plague him for the rest of his career. He'll be in and out of the team, never living up to the player he was here. He'll be on so high wages nobody, even Saudi, will be interested in taking on such a high risk player for the money it would cost. Rather than taking a wage cut and stepping down a level or two, Isak will stay until his contract is up. Liverpool fans will hate his guts. He'll sign for an Italian Serie A club on a free transfer and have a small but insignificant resurgence where he enjoys playing football for the first time in 6 years until he retires, mainly being remembered as one of the biggest flops in football history.

Who do you hate more?

Hate Liverpool (keep Isak)

Hate Isak (Sell him to Liverpool)

This is bull. Liverpool and Isak were in it together.

Sell Isak to anyone but Liverpool.

I just don't think the move happens in a vacuum, though. I don't want us to establish ourselves as a selling club on the day before we establish ourselves as a genuine entity in this league. Not a stepping stone. Not someone that can be pushed around.

I’m a lot more concerned about having to sell our best players because we don’t monetize Isak at the peak of our value and get screwed by PSR because his dead money is on our books than I am about selling players because of our reputation as a “selling club.”

Every club gets targeted by “bigger” clubs (even Liverpool itself). In all likelihood Bruno and Sandro have already been tapped up by a half dozen different places. They’re just not reacting to it like Isak because they’re not idiot coward shitheads.

Not off me, I'm blocked off 3 X accounts Luke, Owen and for some reason Danny Kelly the fat DJ.

Ha ha! I'm blocked by Kelly too. I called him out when during our takeover, he said that he'd stop supporting Spurs if they were ever taken over by a state. Fucking humbug.

I see the merit of the blah blah business bullshit too but if it's not on our terms then it can fuck off. This isn't on our terms, we've been a passenger the entire from the start and making him stay, crawl back or rot is us grabbing the wheel. Reputations matter more than revenue in the long run. The money is already there.

Still feel the same as at the start of it all.

We can't let him go, especially to them, even if they offer 130.

My hope is that the chairman feels the same, it will make him/us look weak which I'm pretty sure Saudi's arent a fan of.

I'm that petty, I'd allow him on the bench v barca and not use him.

If he's still here next month we need to make him look a reet cunt.

The money isn’t there though, because of the idiot shithead rules that prevent us from spending money we already have.

Then we need to launder it Chelsea style until it is. However we set it up it has to be on our terms.

Owned by the convicted insider trading billionaire who was only spared jail because he paid US officials and he's an old fucka.
