Think that Caulkin article pretty damning on PIF.

We should stayed strong and got 150m. The money was there, Liverpool could have paid it and he's certainly worth it.

It's still a capitulation. It's still weakness from the club. I thought I'd be less angry now we've got Wissa but I'm not, I still think they've allowed Liverpool to bully them. Allowing them to deliberately destabilise us and then pay just 125m really is pathetic.

I don't believe it's as simple as that. Having a player as toxic as that cunt, could do so much damage. The constant social media stuff from Liverpool's shills for at least the next 6 months. The all round media attention.

No one is happy about the price but we've rid ourselves of that toxicity and can now focus fully on ourselves.

If he was still here, not playing, it's all we'd here about, day in, day out.

Are you seriously suggesting he was better than Shearer?

His stats are about the same as Ferdinand's and not as good as Cole.

For half a season, Papis Cisse scored at a better rate than Shearer.

All they had to do was reject the £125m and they'd have come back with more, they were desperate for him

Unless they had all of this back and forth dialogue verbally and settled on 125+5 and that was the bid that was 'announced' and accepted. It's still a huge cave in no matter how you square it, he's worth more and they'd have paid more had we been cunts about it imo

But we didn't and here we are

I do believe he was phoning it in at the end of the season, and that the recurrent "injury issues" were presumably self-reported by Isak himself. I remember multiple people on here commenting that he wasn't even celebrating goals from his teammates as we were chasing CL. Those shots at the end of the compilation video also speak for themselves, especially combined with the knowledge of everything that has come since.

He's a total cunt, off the top of my head I can't think of a player betraying their team and their club in the way that he has. In a way, letting the truth of the above settle makes me feel better about the sale - he represents a level of toxicity and betrayal that we are better off without. Perhaps the club concluded the very same.

Would love to get Liverpool at home in one of the cups now. Even the quotes from him upon signing for them just come across out of touch. He imposed his own exile from work yet says he is looking forward to getting back. Arsehole.

Aye. Made sure he didn't play against them and only paid £8m more for him than they paid for Wirtz, and nearly £20m less than they sold Coutinho for 7 years ago. Strikers sell for a Premium and he's one of the top 3 in the World.

I've always thought we were a bit of a soft touch, the way we've let the Premier league take the piss where at least Man City have taken the fight to them, and this feels like another one of those occasions where we've rolled over and had our bellies tickled.

In saying that I'm delighted with Woltemade and Wissa coming in.

Reading that he can fuck right off. Absolute coward, glad this pathetic prick is out of our club

Brave lad timing his press releases when his club were in airplane mode. Hope he falls down the stairs breaks his back.

He'd 100% feel his groin that week. More backbone in a jellyfish.

Imagine failing and underwhelming everywhere you've been since you were a child and acting like that towards the one club where you did well. Hope he chokes on a meatball and no one knows the heimlich.

Don’t have much time for people saying the club have been weak , to be honest he could have quite easily sat here until January just not playing and then what ? His value depreciates and we lose out on more money towards PSR… it’s clear he could have never been reintegrated into the squad , he’s gone and we’ve got a fee that’s going to set us up for a nice while .
