To be honest even I started to wonder whether we have overhyped him when he’s still here. I mean we genuinely believe he is the best striker in the world back at that time. And now it does looks like we are also an idiot.

He was basically scoring a goal a game for long swaithes last season in the "worlds best league". I don't think he was overhyped at all. He has simply got ahead of himself, as have Liverpool, and their collective greed has poisoned the club.

They really pissed off the Saudis with the isak transfer. I wouldn't be so sure Saudi will be willing to do a deal thst suits them. They'll pay salah whatever he wants. They'll restrict the fee though, if offering a fee at all.

More great man management from Slot here [emoji38]

Salah thrown under the bus, Konate at the crime scene, it’s all making sense. Slot is creating a Nordic noir. Just need to figure out who’s driving the bus, fairly confident at this stage it’s Slot

Ekitike scored twice today mainly just by working hard and staying alert. He didn't need the whole team built around him.

The fact that Slot is openly referencing Murphy's significance is majestic and it sums up the transfer entirely. They bought him because they could but didn't stop to think if they should.

You’ve nicked that off me. And I nicked it off Jurassic Park.

Imagine going from winning things, bring loved and adored by an entire city, to becoming ridiculed, hated and laughed at by the entire country (even the mackems - well done them, tbf) and losing games at record breaking rate.

Some decline.

Wonder if he even leaves the house, but be difficult for him. It's inevitable he's burgled at some point as well. Going to feel like he's the UK's most hated footballer, and he doesn't seem to have the thickness of skin Owen has.

Salah’s not in the team now and Isaks been mostly anonymous. I don’t think they will ever “play to his strengths” like we did here, he’ll have to adapt or fail.

Think Slot’s ill advised comments about Jacob Murphy suggest they will address the issue in Jan window and sign a winger to help play to Isak’s strengths. Isak will need to wrestle his place away from Ekitike mind

After how they fucked us around all summer, I’ll be so pissed off with PIF if they bail the dippers out. This is 100% where you just let that toxic situation fester.

in fairness Salah would be a huge signing for the Saudi league I can see why they’d spend £100m for him

Aye it’s nailed-on and it’ll be a huge fee and humongous wages for him

Problem is they have no need to pay that much.

They could easily get him on the cheap if they wanted to.

Liverpool want him gone, Salah wants to be gone, but nobody else in Europe will match his 400k per week wages. His only option is Saudi Arabia, unless he is willing to take a massive paycut.

The Saudis hold all the cards here.....so watch them steam in with a £250m bid just for the sheer hell of it. [emoji38]

The annoying thing is, the Saudis will give them mega money for Salah

I feel it's almost like Liverpool are looking to push for that transfer by freezing Salah out.

Slot is not a top manager, not even close in fact and I've been saying that since mid way through last season when they were strolling to a PL title, however in this instance, I think it looks equally bad, or worse on Salah's part. He's been dropped for two games after performing poorly most of the season and he's whinging in the media about it selfishly and narcissistically. No player can demand to be picked if they've played well below the standard required, especially one who point blank refuses to do any hard work off the ball which is essential when a team is struggling and needs to turn around their fortunes. He's an absolute child.

Wait a fucking minute. Murphy > Salah? Is that what that Bald means?

He would ofcourse be 100% right.

Salah doesn't bring much to the team in his current state.

Howe should offer to tender his resignation if the Saudis give Liverpool a fee for Salah.

particularly as any fee will be invested in centre backs and a supply line for Isak

Each Saudi club acts independently. Howe resigning won't even register.
