The Times reported earlier he'd stuck his rental house on the market for a day or so, then took it off again. Then he put it back on the market again afterwards.

 

At a guess, he's just making gestures to force something to happen.

 

Which it won't because we haven't been offered enough even if he's currently seemingly determined on tanking his own value now to get it done.

 

An even worse guess (as I go right through the looking glass here) is that's mainly because rather than getting a huge transfer fee cut his agent instead will get a hefty cut of any massively increased salary and then get it regularly from his meal ticket given that the agent is reportedly a pariah in a lot of places.

 

Plus Isak can then allegedly* afford to try to bribe more women to pretend to soullessly like him in his tragic car shaped solo bed.

I think there was some focus on trying to make Isak join the high press, though. The more he does the high pressing, the faster he will gas out. If Liverpool doesn't do this as much with him he might last longer.

Yes if he’s here after 1st September. Both have no choice in reality. Bigger fish than Isak have done it.

This will be absolutely fine. 

 

He's still derailed the start of our season though.

 

That season opener against Villa 2 years ago when the whole team clicked into gear including him seems a much longer time ago.

I do agree that this "threat" which again is just a leaked quote and not a direct on the record quote, is a last hail Mary attempt to force us into a sale. 

 

If it doesn't work then I'm pretty sure he won't have the courage to see it through and will claim he never said that he wouldn't play for us again and that he now wants to play. 

 

Still think he will go before the deadline unfortunately.
