Just had a look on the Arsenal forum and they have unanimously decided they no longer want him.

Always something wrong with him and nobody will pay anywhere near 100m for him now apparently  [emoji38]

Havent read the thread so im probably doing a giggs, but this kind of points to the injury he’s been managing during the last few months - explaining his drop off.

still, an off the pace isak is still head and shoulders above anyone else up front that we have.

hope he can give us one last game.

but please, get it fixed in the summer.

From what Howe has said it “sounds” like he’s got a pretty good chance of playing Sunday. He trained alright and felt stiffness afterwards and was sent for a routine scan. Hopefully a few days rest then ease back into training and he’s fit for Sunday.

Wish I could have a day off work every time I feel stiffness in my groin.

Don't know about anyone else but I feel a stiffness in my groin every morning. From about 6.00 am. Have done since I was about 12. 🤔

Fucking bunch of wankers. Let them rot, man.

Apparently the club subsequently reviewed player safety and invested in alarms and private security for them.

Didn’t Howe say on Sunday it’s not the type of injury that requires surgery, just rest and strength training?

Presumably The Guardian are reporting on the results of a scan or something.

Chill your jets lads - was in the Delap article:

Newcastle are looking to add more depth to a small squad and are understood to have made it clear that they feel that Delap can play in tandem with their star forward, Alexander Isak. Eddie Howe will also need a quality alternative to Isak – who is reportedly set to undergo groin surgery at the end of the season.

That was Howes response to someone asking if the injury could potentially need surgery.

Aye, I'm assuming he's been in for some sort of scan or something which has revealed bad news since then.
