The Prophet Posted Thursday at 13:21 Share Posted Thursday at 13:21 Baldwards is speculating clubs may attempt lowball bids in the summer to try and unsettle him. Hope we tie him down nice and early to avoid all of this type of nonsense.

A Man Utd/“bIG 4” content farm perpetually perplexed by its own existence as a platform that both rails against “football capitalism” and finds succour in it. Their moral crusades might be more coherent and palatable if they also weren’t part of the “media” they so virtuously “watch” for us. They’d also sound more intelligible if they’d take the crayons out of their mouths when they speak.
JUICE690 Posted Thursday at 13:36 Share Posted Thursday at 13:36 As long as we can match Isaks ambitons of playing at the highest level, then he's not going anywhere. But no champions league at the end of next season (I think he gives us this summer to improve the squad) then at 26 he'll probably look at moving on, and I wouldn't begrudge him for it (though i'd obviously be gutted). The guy is elite.

If we get Europa league and bolster the squad he probably still stays but being out of the CL does increase the chances of him going imo. Hes that good though he’s almost pricing himself out of a move particularly with 3 years left. I almost wouldn’t be surprised that the next club he goes to is Real Madrid or something. Let’s hope Real Madrid don’t fancy him, or they’ll already be working on a deal to sign him on a free after his current contract expires, as is their MO. Erikse Posted yesterday at 16:39 Share Posted yesterday at 16:39 Fans of other clubs keep asking me "do you think they will manage to keep him?" I didn't know that turning down bids was such a difficult task to perform. Hopefully Mitchell manages to click the right buttons, and doesn't misclick the "accept bid" one. I’ve commented on my situation and my security in Newcastle several times. "It’s been written how much I love the city and the club, how well I feel there. I’m not thinking about the future." "I just want to perform for Newcastle. Now we won the cup, but we want to finish strong and reach the Champions League games. That’s where my focus lies.” “Things like that can’t be described. I think you can only 'imagine' how it feels. But it’s an incredible feeling. "Wembley packed with all the Newcastle fans there. I’m looking forward to seeing what Newcastle is like as a city after that. I haven’t been back yet.”
