Gateshead dropped the ball selling Langstaff, 36 in 35 for Notts County. Wild record

He was playing centre half tonight according to the BBC. Haven't heard much of his strike partner recently who was also at Gateshead last season, Cedwyn Scott, who is a Tynedale lad.

Pep is a wanker taking Haaland off like, and it was entirely predictable too. Let the lad try and break the record for most goals man, he's 22 and could run all night out there.

Didn't want Messi to lose the record outright

Did they have a choice in selling him? Notts County are the bigger club and would offer him better wages

Think @The Prophet called him out to flop in the summer.

The signing didn't make sense as he is not a Moyes type striker.

He's very technical and his link up play is top notch provided you play it into his feet consistently when he drops into space.

Moyes does not play that way. He already had major issues with a similar profile of striker in Seb Haller, so no idea what on Earth he was doing going for the same type again.

Stoke definitely on top now. He wasn't great for the equaliser, but Boro's keeper has made a couple of decent saves. Probably end up costing them (Stoke). Really good match though.

Tried watching, but the quality of football is even worse than watching Leipzig get humped.

It's one game man. Against a pitiful side.

Harrowing game for Gvardiol. Leipzig have probably lost £20 million on his fee from this game alone ;D

I hope we become half as boring as them then. They're relentless.

Wonder what happened to Robert's son. Had trials with Celtic and Burnley them disappeared.

Quick Google search, he's at Beziers in the 5th tier of French football.

He left Airdrie and went to Belgium side Excel Mouscron after about 6 months of checking he hadn’t played a game for them and I lost interest

He’s got 1 in 2 and probably found his level. Langstaff is (was) going against Haaland for top scorer in English professional football this season.

Think Langstaff could make the jump a couple of leagues higher, really is too good for where he’s at now

I also struggle to think of many strikers that have come from Serie A and been prolific/regular goalscorers in the PL.

Zola, Shevchenko, Di Canio, Balotelli? 2 of those were one season wonders. All I can think of who had any effectiveness.
