I wonder if there'd ever come a point with Chelsea and FFP where they are told they've been that poor that their next sponsorship has to be less than the current one ?

Can’t believe they’ve spent a billion and have a pensioner at the back and no centre forward

Well the pensioner scored, so no centre forward needed. Chelsea logic. ?

Another year out of Europe could surely sink Chelsea

Another year out the CL is only meaningful, surely? The Europa competition rewards are still pocket change if I recall.

Not just about money but about whether their players will want to stay. They’re all going to be a nightmare to shift because of their wages and what they sold for. They’ll all need to go for a lot less than they were bought for. Chelsea are finished

This Chelsea squad must be one of the biggest misuses of £1b in history even outside of a football context.

How much did the millennium dome cost?

Roughly? Forty-two thousand pounds.

789 million pounds back in 1999. The equivalent of 1.45 billion pounds today.

The Dome was open for a year.

Aye, absolutely this. Can't see how they'd be able to shift the likes of Mudryk, or even the expensive fringe shite, given the wages and loss they'd have to take

Why on earth is Arteta starting Havertz?

I get Jesus is injured but Havertz is shite and most definitely not a striker

Havertz must have pictures of these managers he's played under.

He’s largely inexperienced though and is yet to have a pre season as a manager.

Bournemouth looked relegation fodder under Parker until he got the job.

They finished 5 points above relegation
