Anyone watching city vs Milan? The pitch looks way too narrow

Caught up on this later.

Looked like there was some fantastic play down the right from both teams.

Oscar Bobb for Man City and Chukwueze for Milan looked really dangerous.

Hojlund’s body does seem like it’s on the ropes for someone his age. Is it his back again? For such a physical striker who puts themselves about constantly  it is a big concern

Hojlund and Yoro got injured last night and I'm not ready for another season of this.

Nothing worse than a new signing coming in and getting injured early doors. So demoralising.

And Hojlund has to be a concern at this point with the injuries he keeps picking up.

Not in the mood for injuries piling up for Newcastle this season at all.

Really glad Mitchell brought in his performance guy. Hope that really pays off.

Hamstring for Hojlund. Don't know what Yoro's issue is yet. Hopefully just tweaks from lack of fitness.

Watched the 1st half of Arsenal game, after 10 mins of the match the speed of play was incredible. Don't know if it's something Arteta is working towards but it was quite noticeable how fast they were moving the ball, far faster than anything we usually see. Ødegaard fell awkwardly and I thought he must've dislocated or broke his arm but he seemed OK. Arsenal are really going to push Man City again.

Why did they have penalties when Arsenal won 2-1?

Craic. We did the same last year. Give the fans some drama.

Although Jesus's goal was a mile offside so maybe the ref felt bad.

All going well for Chelsea in pre-season. Draw with Wrexham and botted by Celtic.

Lovely stuff.

Nothing a new set of players won’t solve and another £1bn

Said a while ago I had a feeling Ange love in would end before 2nd season is finished. Will be interesting to see where Spurs are in 12 months and if I’m proven incorrect.

I like whatever I've seen him say in press conferences, but it's always felt like it would end in tears at Tottenham.

He’s a likeable guy on TV etc but that doesn’t mean anything for his management really. Think Spurs will continue to be in and around the same position they always have been, which isn’t too bad I guess.

They haven't changed the squad to what he wants, he said at the end of last season he wanted big changes.

So yeah, don't see it ending well.

Tbf, I'd need to see his methods be given the silent treatment at a different club to Spurs before I'd put the blame on him. They're famous for being pushovers who don't respond well to positive aggression.

Yeah, culturally speaking, him and Tottenham feel like chalk and cheese. I was shocked at the appointment, really.

Always feel there is a difference between when he wins and loses. Seems to avoid eye contact altogether after a defeat and sound very flat.

I like Ange but his football approach is pretty one dimensional. They also have a team with some glaring weaknesses. I think they’ll get some heavy wins this season but a good number of heavy losses. Can’t see them finishing above sixth. In fact I’d predict 7th or 8th

One of my targets for NUFC this season is for us to do much better away against Man City, Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea but most importantly Liverpool.

Someone send this to EH now… Seems quite a detailed breakdown.

I mean, yes? Wouldn’t it be weird if there wasn’t?

Not really. There’s managers in the PL that show little difference regardless of results. EH shows little to none for example which I love. Ange is very visibly different. Especially as the season went on.

Just win at Anfield. What a pathetic record.
