Annoying that my Bet Builder involved a Romero foul(has he ever had a game without one before last night?) and Verstergaard shot of any description and Leicester managed two corners ffs. Cost me £625 that. Spurs are still missing something, Son seems to have went backwards fast and not sure their midfield is up with anyone elses challenging with them

Approachaing 10th year of Premier League football, there's not many players who can manage to keep going beyond that. 409 games in that time, too.

Think of like Michael Owen and Wayne Rooney who were fucked by the time they were 27. That was around their 10th season and it was all down hill in what should have been their prime years. Dyer who debuted at 16 in the Championship, was done by the time he was 26.

Then you have freaks like Milner, Young and Vardy. [emoji38]

I have no scientific data to back up my 8 year premium theory, just a got feeling I'll stick to when and apply on Football Manager. Dead at 25. Sold.

Vicario going absolutely mental at an 18 year old that had just come on the pitch, and was being closed down two on one, with no senior players helping him out, is a very good look.

Reminded me of Pickford, who does this every single Everton match I watch.  Thought Vicario wasn't sweeping his box very well and a younger Vardy would have seen out the win with his chances. Spurs looked really good first half, but had the most Spursy 2nd.

A choice of 3 CL playoff matches on UK TV today.

Bodo Glimt vs Red Star Belgrade (TNT)

Lillie vs Slavia Prague (Amazon)

Dinamo Zagreb vs Qarabag (TNT)

I'm a bit of a hipster when it comes to this so will be watching anyway, but it would have been more exciting last year whenwe were involved, and potentially awaiting a winner in our group.

As a Northern Norwegian, it feels kinda surrealistic to know the CL hymn was playing just a two hour drive away.

That's the one that I went for.

I think there's like 6/7 players in the starting eleven that's either from Bodø or came through their academy, but were born in other Northern Norwegian towns. If they make it into the CL proper, I feel like they would be the club with the most homegrown players in their first team squad since like... the 90s or something

Interesting to see twice Conference finalists Fiorentina get a bit of a scare at home to Puscas Academy. 2-0 down after 12 minutes; now 3-2.

Servette presently holding Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Hope they get embarrassed.

Annoying there's absolutely no Europa on TNT, like. That's new, surely? ???

Theyre pieing off the goals show this season too I think. AC Jimbo alluded to it on one of the podcasts a couple of weeks ago.

TNS look set to become the first Welsh League club to ever make a European Group stage.

They'll be the 10th nation to make the Group stage for the first time since the Conference League started.

UEFA rightly get a lot of shit, but the Conference League was such a good idea.

Absolutely fucking crap that they're binning stuff off. My Virgin bill is miraculously only increasing, too.
