Yeah you're right here IMO. I think he'd have been great for us.

 

Don't think he's worth 50-60 million like, but he would have improved our team without a doubt.

It's possible, but I expected more chinks in the armour by now. Probably comes down to winning that home game against them.

I mean if we are naive and leave massive gaps for them to counter in to we might get ourselves in hot water. 

 

Other than transitions they don't have much imo. Very workmanlike and difficult to breakdown though.

I’m not saying he’s ONLY good in transition, I said he is great in that role. He’s a decent player outside of that, and I advocated for signing him in summer ‘23. 
 

I don’t feel his attributes are best suited for us anymore though, and I think we could get more out of a different player. 
 

(Forest would also want big money for him now).

Long before such a high price was ever even mentioned when he was linked previously, he was being disparaged on here.
