Fak
It’s a firm yes from me for Cherki. I approve any deal Howe & co. may make for this fella. The club has my approval.
andycap
Spurs would beat man utd if they meet in the final. That's the one team spurs can beat at will.

Kid Icarus
Spurs winning it would undoubtedly be the preference and also the much less likely outcome. Edited April 17 by Kid Icarus

But outside of the bottom 3 the two worst performing sides in the Prem are most likely going to win the competition, and a bang average Rangers team have made the quarter finals. It's shocking It's almost like the Premier League has been financially doping for the last 15 years.
simonsays
The most irritating thing would be that either Spurs or Man Utd in the ECL would get more money for it than us
alexf
Is there anyone left that could beat either of these. Seems so wrong that both can be this shit and still win a trophy and get champions league next year. Man U are such scrotes, they shouldn't even be in Europe this year if it wasn't for that hungover man city side.
SiLvOR
One of these cunts are gonna end up in the CL next year aren't they
AngelofTheFourth
Winning the UEL/UECL is much easier when your season is pretty much over in your league. I never really see winning those trophies while also coming below 12th in your league table a flex. Especially with the recent changes.

Maggies
Seems the tournament is a lot easier when the Chanpions League clubs don’t drop in to it.
Geordie Ahmed
I've accepted one of these will win it Just going to focus on the fact one of them won't win it
gbandit
The tournament is poorer for not having CL teams drop in but it does feel out of order that they get another chance at silverware after having been dumped out of the CL. Personally, prefer it the way it is now but it’s ruined by the fact that the PL has such depth that teams in the bottom half are walking it
RodneyCisse
Feels like, for us missing the champs league next season and being in this would be a blessing to add to our collection of silverware. But financially getting Champions League will propel us and establish us for so much longer.

alexf
Yeah at best they should get auto qualification to Europa again in order to defend their "title" but promotion to champions league is too generous. But with the expanded the CL and as many as potentially 6 English teams in there next year anyways the whole thing is abit of a farce. Hanshithispantz
I think it just seems worse as it's Man Utd and Spurs getting pulled out the shit. If it was Bournemouth and Fulham in this I think people would be a lot more sympathetic to them getting into the CL.

It’s a bit like saying we shouldn’t have a Conference League place for winning the League Cup or the FA Cup winners shouldn’t have a Europa League place.
