Trying to work out how Chelsea could possibly be in the mix for the CL. No discernable style of play, a bunch of kids and mercenaries, and a manager who doesn't have a clue.

This is it, even their fans say it was down to Palmer and now they've been fully Maresca'd and he's out of form they're shite. The manager doesn't seem to be well liked at all.

For years I always worried what it would be like if Liverpool won the league, the media etc.

 

Thankfully, the first time they won it was covid and literally nobody really remembers it, there was so much more shit going on obviously; and now this time, they're winning it in normal times but they've been so average and the rest of the league has been fairly poor that it still has another asterix next to it.

 

It'll be made even better next season as when teams strengthen they'll be nowhere near the title.

It doesn't have an asterix next to it if we're being honest. Other teams being poor isn't their fault. They're going to win the league at a canter. 

 

I think their mistake is giving huge contracts out to ageing players off the back of it.

Wonder what Liverpool fans think about Slot. I'm sure they all felt that the league should have been sewn up by now. I mean, they're obviously still going to win it but ceratainly not as convincingly as it once seemed. Also knocked out of both domestic cups () & the CL.

Maybe saying an asterix next to it is the wrong turn of phrase, but what I mean is no one really sees them as this amazing team, other than the bias media, they're nowhere near the Man Citys of recent years, or for you thr Man Utd of the 90s/early 2000s, they've just won the league based on everyone else being shit. So it does make it feel better in that way.
