"Sheffield United have had 9 play off campaigns and none of them have ended in promotion"

Just tipped my old man over the edge

Similar to our Wembley story.

Scott Parker with 3 promotions to the Premier League.

Bournemouth, Fulham and now Burnley.

Fair play

I could be wrong, but I think he's been promoted every season he's managed in the championship. Three years of management in the championship, three promotions.

3 relegations as well if he wasn’t sacked beforehand.

Huge gap between the leagues though and on extremely limited budgets.

He'll get plenty of jobs from teams aiming for the top flight in the future

Think Burnley going up impacts us and Trafford?

I actually think they will sell him to fund some bids for some of the top champo players in an effort to stay up.

In the sense he will probably cost a bit more.

To him, given what a yo-yo club Burnley are, maybe, maybe not.

Delighted for Leeds to be back in the Prem, always had a soft spot for them as Dad is a lifelong Leeds fan.

The managerial equivalent of "Too good for the Championship, too poor for the Premier League"

I actually think given how defensively resolute they've been this season, they'll make a better fist if staying up next season than they did under Kompany.

I was just about to make this point too, I wouldn't be surprised. Still expect them to go back down but perhaps the solid foundation means they can compete more. It worked for Rafa although in much less of a closed shop.

Wonder if Burnley will be able to get Marcus Edwards again next season.

Completely changed them after he moved but is probably capable at a higher level.

Think they said on commentary they have an obligation to make it permanent if they get promoted
