Think Burnley going up impacts us and Trafford?

In the sense he will probably cost a bit more.

To him, given what a yo-yo club Burnley are, maybe, maybe not.

Delighted for Leeds to be back in the Prem, always had a soft spot for them as Dad is a lifelong Leeds fan.

3 relegations as well if he wasn’t sacked beforehand.

The managerial equivalent of "Too good for the Championship, too poor for the Premier League"

I actually think given how defensively resolute they've been this season, they'll make a better fist if staying up next season than they did under Kompany.

I was just about to make this point too, I wouldn't be surprised. Still expect them to go back down but perhaps the solid foundation means they can compete more. It worked for Rafa although in much less of a closed shop.

Wonder if Burnley will be able to get Marcus Edwards again next season.

Completely changed them after he moved but is probably capable at a higher level.

Think they said on commentary they have an obligation to make it permanent if they get promoted

I’ve said it once. I’ve said it twice. I’ve always loved Goran Bunjevčević, Moussa Saïb and nice guy Sonny. He’s such a great lad and top bloke.

He’s also got a head that’s far too big for his body.

Nice guy Sonny’s drop off has been an all time great one in fairness, I love him for that

Burnley might, might, have a chance because of how tight they are.  May be the way future promoted sides have to be to avoid being cannon fodder given how far behind the next worse teams they are.

Speaking of next worst teams, cant think of any team/club I'd less want to be in the trenches with than Spurs. They feel somehow even more powderpuff when they could do you a turn.
