GallowgatePigeon
Oh well, over to you Sheff Utd. Try not to be as pathetic as Coventry.
vexred
I want to see them crying at Wembley. The hope and then the "why is it never us celebrating"
Thomson Mouse
Getting beat at Wembley or coming up, either will be hilarious
Ketsbaia
In theory, all Coventry need to do is score the first goal on Tuesday. Then it could be absolutely anything again. But all trust has disappeared.
Sibierski
Coventry don’t beat themselves up, they should win 2nd leg. Sunderland form looked the same and were essentially gifted one clear goal and other from really poor defending.
bigfella
Ballard motm, the same dozy bastard who was lucky not to be sent off against us last season, but managed to score an own goal anyway.
samptime29
Certainly not over but Mackems are in a good position.
andycap
Turned the match on cue Coventry howler 😂. It's not over at all, sunderland at home isn't exactly a fortress.
ryanegg
One of the worst games I’ve watched for a long time. My mate fell asleep.
Norseman
Coventry are honestly awful. Just pumping crosses and long throws into the box and hoping. Lampard masterclass
et tu brute
At least Coventry have to go for it from the off, but their away form is not good. Mackems two opportunities on the break one through a shocker of a back pass. Mind I was saying at half time that all Coventry do is play or out wide and cross it. Worked once with the only decent cross into the box all game, but they just put it in with poor crossing time and time again, and it's been meat and drink to the mackem defence. Easy to defend when you know what's going to happen every single time. No play whatsoever through the midfield at anytime. If you're going to play that way all game the play Simm, who is a big physical player and would love to get one over these lot after the stick he took when he was up there. Lampard showing again he is not a manager of any level. Sheff United will beat either of these I would think, as they have a lot more going on forward areas. Mind though, either of these two so actually get promoted they be challenging for the lowest ever points total.

et tu brute
3 hours ago, toon25 said: Ellis Sims to score please Can't believe he wasn't at least brought on, as with Coventry relying on their whole game being putting crosses into the box, then surely he was the best option to at least put a challenge onto Ballard who was easily winning everything (apart from their actual goal). Their manager (who has done a decent job considering they finished 16th last season), did his homework in knowing that Coventry would be playing their full game based on delivery into the box, and he selects Ballard to take care of this and as I mentioned above, apart from one occasion he had a field day. The mackems are claiming a masterclass (even though they have been asking for the manager's head in large volumes recently). It wasn't. Sunderland had one really good move for the first goal when they opened up Coventry, and even then the goalkeeper should have saved it. Their second goal was purely down to an awful back pass from the defender.
Menace
Coventry really have pissed that Gyokeres money up the wall. Ellis Simms is horrific.

Lordshola
I honestly wouldn’t mind Sunderland coming back to the prem. Guaranteed 6 points.

Are you talking about games ten years ago with a completely different team? Am not sure Jack Colback and co will be preying on Isak and Bruno’s minds tbh

NUFCDoog
Most blatant offisde ever not given in the Orient/Stockport game and its a goal for Orient. Miles off, shocking decision.
Tsunami
I’m pretty sure that even if the Lino couldn’t see the flick on that the ref will have done and just needed to ask the Lino if the player was offside. In fact, the ref could probably see that he was offside.
NUFCDoog
Stevie Wonder could see he was offside, awful decision from both of them.
