I feel bad for someone like Son who, as you rightly point out, still has some life left in him. But he’s in a position with Ange where his coach has no fucking clue how to help him adapt and bring the best out of him. I’m so happy we have Howe who does know how to do those things. Son would still be thriving if he had Eddie at his side.

He won’t be his coach much longer

Extremely unlikely and probably been asked already but if Tottenham and Man Utd somehow both win we could actually qualify tonight? As Villa could no longer catch us and one of Forest/Chelsea wont be able to catch us either

Well not mathematically, but in practice yes. Draw for Chelsea would also be enough.

Spurs. Memories of Steve Bruce’s Newcastle come flooding back.

Punch bag for 80 minutes and if still level or 1-0 down, try to nick a goal at the end.

If Villa get a red the game will atleast be somewhat fair.

Good on the ref for carding Cash for asking for a yellow for the Spurs player.

Archie Gray just said “fuck it.”

I'm shocked that's his first booking

Usually the CB/CM for teams towards the bottom of the table pick up a fair few bookings
