Isak vs low block.[emoji38]

All these dimwit teams thirsting after Isak when he was at Newcastle when they don't play the same sort of game we do that got the best out of him.

This Slot is another side to side possession merchant [emoji38]

Hope Isak is having PTSD from his Sociedad days [emoji38]

Same with the last striker Liverpool bought from us.

We played to Carroll's strengths, built the system around him.

He struggled when expected to adapt TO a system too...

"I look at both lineups and think 'One did everything they could to get a move. The other could've and probably should have done more'. That disruption has left Liverpool in a worse of situation . I just hope for Palace' sake they do the right thing in January"

Isak is class.

BUT we setup for him to score goals. Direct.  A winger there just to supply him.

In Howe’s 3 seasons. Our number 9s Isak or Wilson+Isak have scored 20 something goals in each.  Close to 30 in the CL year. The system was built for our strikers s

Btw I don’t see this as a problem. I don’t get managers like Arteta where fullbacks get into half spaces but the wingers are wide. You don’t create especially for your best finisher. It has its issues but I love Howe ball.

Palace are really good right?

I think we are the last team to beat them you know.

I was at that game and first half was hilarious. Like a pantomime. Murph scoring from a crazier angle than Tonali, Eze hitting a crazy runup penenka pen straight at Pope who didn't move, and then us getting three more, including a Guehi own goal. 4-0 at half time. Second half was a nonevent but Isak finally got one after multiple misses.
