Given the choice between Forest and Villa, it is Forest all the way for me.

Forest in the Champions League after all these years would be quite something.

Imagine if they get into CL next season and get relegated this season. How on earth are they going to fit CL into their Championship schedule?[emoji38]

Catching up on the Europa highlights. Looked like a lot of fun in Strasbourg; made mincemeat of Mainz against what looked like an amazing atmosphere there. Totally appreciate their existential crisis given the Chelsea link but looked like pretty epic scenes there. Enciso looked dynamite.

Would be happy to see Lejeune's lads do em in the semi-final but surely Strasbourg are the only hope of stopping Palace.

Crazy that villa are now 20th in the 5 year UEFA club Coefficient above Manchester United. If they keep on going they way they are going with Emery they will soon be a in Pot 1 in ucl with the likes of Bayern and Real Madrid which is just insane.

While we are still way down in 72nd because we cant consistently get into Europe. Just shows the importance of these lower European competitions we aren't going to get far being in and out of UCL and when we are in the UCL not really do much of note. Getting out of the league phase a was step in the the right direction though I guess.

Bit bored so I put St Pauli - Köln on. Friday night at Millerntor looks absolutely bonkers. Anyone been?

Saw St. Pauli play at Union Berlin a few weeks ago, which was absolutely bonkers, one of my favorite football experiences.. Went to Hamburg but missed a St. Pauli home match when I was there.

Koln is a great place to take in a game n all. Team are usually shite but compared to the other domestic games I’ve been to over there it was a step above. Stadium is near perfection n all.

Visited after the Dortmund match, great city but did a tasting tour of the local kolsch and all but one of them were the same fizzy, tasteless, straw-coloured piss. Much preferred the dunklebeer in Dussledorf and Dortmund.

Also by the time I'd walked up the cathedral I was glad to see there was a provided defibrilator at the top.

I really like it albeit it gets dangerous when they just keep bringing it until you say you’re alright. You remember which was the one you found alright? IIRC Paffgen was the one that was really nice.

Can't remember the name but funnily enough it was the only one we didn't get from a Brauhaus, the Californian guide took us to some mini-mart/corner shop so we could try his favourite one, and it was much better, far deeper and richer flavours.  The other Americans in our group weren't keen on it tho.
