JLC
I hate these cunts. Used to quite like/admire Arsenal. They have turned into utter cunting cunts. Managed by the biggest of them all.

Is it also right that they haven't had a red card or a penalty given against them this season? Havertz coming out of this season without a red card is itself a scandal. The trouble is, we all get that refs fuck up - they’re human, they have unconscious biases, the game is fast, it’s a tough job. But if VAR is incapable of sanding off the edges, then why have it at all? Almost every club (with at least one exception) can put together a compilation vid of them getting shafted. They’re boring at this point. Just…when you see a very straight forward direct comparison (Simons on VVD vs Havertz tonight, Jimenez on Dragusin vs Kolo Muani on Gabriel) it’s obvious that something’s going on that needs addressing. And if VAR can‘t do it, fuck it off.

midds
Arsenal are the football equivalent of a snuff video. I'd rather see kittens being drowned as watch these fuckers disseminate the sport and percentage their way to the title. Abhorrent stuff each and every week

TomYam
Until the transformative advent of Arsene Wenger, Arsenal's nicknames had for decades been 'Boring, Boring Arsenal' and Lucky Arsenal. 1-0 to Arsenal was the standard scoreline. The club appears to have reverted to normal.
Interpolic
I whacked this on around 82 minutes and watched the remaining 16 or so. The ball must have been out of play for more than half of that time - I counted 55 seconds for Arsenal to take one throw-in in their own half, players down, all the tricks and zero football attempted. All to squeak yet another win, this time against a team long relegated. No interest in doing anything in style, trying to play the actual sport properly. Joyless, gutless, backward football which is the mirror image of the sad wanker presiding over it. Gross. Edited May 18 by Interpolic
KaKa
Arsenal's football is just tragic man. I don't think they're going to get a result away against Palace. Lets see if Man City are able to win their remaining two, because I'm not sure they'll manage that either against Bournemouth and Brentford.

NUFCDoog
Southampton decision not going to be till tomorrow apparently and sporting sanctions rather than financial are going to be the punishment of found guilty. Crazy the game is meant to be this Saturday, youd assume Southampton will still be in it with such a late outcome...

deejeck
I can't deny, my hatred for Arsenal is bordering on irrational, I would rather watch the likes of Burnley v Everton ahead of any Arsenal home fixture. Stuff like those stupid massive flags when they score a goal, or that utterly wank pre-match anthem annoys me far more than it should. I have no words to describe how I felt when rent-a-cunt took the mic after yesterday's game. Utter gimp. Yes, I probably need to get out more . This isn’t just copium, but it genuinely makes things easier to take when they are just so transparently awful from manager to players to style to fans. I guess so, it'll certainly be on the table you'd imagine. Be a massive decision to make mind so I still think the most likely outcome is a points deduction, whether in the PL or next time theyre in the EFL. Depends though, they might want to make an example of them. Problem then is that there's an appeal process so if they did sling them out, they'd, a - need to decide if Middlesbrough take their place, in which case the match Saturday surely cant go ahead as theyd need to await the appeal outcome or b whether Hull just go up. Kilcline
It's pathetic and 100% true to form for the football authorities that there's even a debate around what the sanction should be, even more so given the current rule was brought in after another similar incident. Should just be found guilty = this is the punishment.

You'd imagine if a points deduction carries over to the Prem from an EFL ruling (if that's allowed) then Southampton will be happy with a points deduction if it means they can bag the Prem millions and parachute payments
Paullow
Some will no doubt be complaining about match going fans, but as an armchair fan, it's good how like often is the case, one of the PL matches start at 7.30pm and the other 8.15pm, so you can watch a half of one and the full match of the other. Usually better if the match you're most interested in starts at 7.30pm. Edited May 19 by Paullow

Very reasonable to have limited sympathy for them in the later game tonight given they don't need to leave London for roughly a third of the season.
