mouldy_uk
English teams at the buffet cart that is Europe, piling their plates high. Irritates me that the European competitions are so watered down, they used to have a real prestige to them. With all the teams in Europe next season, and all the games it brings, my expectations for the league (for us) are super high.

With all the teams in Europe next season, and all the games it brings, my expectations for the league (for us) are super high. I'm looking forward to it, with the caveat that we're somewhere close to back to our best. A good chunk of games against teams that will have played a few days before and potentially long journeys, the likelihood of a few Friday/Monday night games under the lights against some of the shite, and a few old fashioned Saturday 3pm games should make for a decent mix. I won't even mind the Sunday 2pms if we're playing a team hanging out the back of their arse. Although on that front, we could, ironically, probably do with keeping the intensity next season! We should definitely be finishing ahead of Brighton, Bournemouth & Sunderland with their squads & schedule, but these two have larger budgets than us and the same schedule. Going to have to be at it every week to reach top 5 or even 6-7.

Fak Posted Saturday at 08:23 Share Posted Saturday at 08:23 Absolutely love Luis Enrique and what hes created at PSG. Mattoon Posted Saturday at 08:36 Share Posted Saturday at 08:36 Football only wins today if the team that plays it does, I'm hoping for an absolute rear ending but Arsenal, for all their turgid "football" are actually really good at defending so I think we'll see a cagey game.
