Wolfcastle
They're going to lose a relegation level amount of games this season. Liverpool, Forest, Villa, Brighton still to come, 16 defeats already, not that you'd rule Wolves, Palace, West Ham and the like out
nortoon
Just these two sets of players as well. going down for absolutely everything and being whiny. two worst teams for it. I won't have anyone change my mind until i watch arsenal again. Edited April 3, 2025 by nortoon
Pablo123
They looked toothless. They need an Eddie Howe type manager, because Postecoglu isn't getting them to where they want to be.

LionOfGosforth
In prior seasons where sometimes 40+ pts was needed to finish out of the bottom 3, this Spurs side would have had a job staying up

He's average asf I didn’t see the match tonight but he’s been their best player in most games I’ve watched of them this season, I think he’s quality
Kid Icarus
They're going on about Spurs being poor, but for me the main takeaway from that match is how it reflects on Chelsea that they only won 1 nil and were somehow hanging on at home to them. Spurs were absolutely shite but on chances created they were both pretty equal and Spurs could have very easily grabbed a goal or two. Chelsea are shite. LordJake
Looked at the spurs team beforehand and thought that looks a decent eleven. They are absolute dogshit, style of play is suicidal. No way he is manager next season

Mattoon
Crap result for us but ultimately with Chelsea to play at home and a game in hand it's totally in our control to finish above them. Spurs have a smattering of talent within their squad but with the loss of one of the best finishers in the world and an aging Son, this season was always going to be a difficult transition. I don't think it's entirely Postecoglu's fault, but his kamikaze style football and stubbornness to change is a key factor. There are bigger issues than the manager and the squad though and I think Spurs and Man Utd will have a number of years in midtable mediocrity. It's up to us, Villa, Bournemouth(?) and Brighton to break into that "top 6" permanently now, only really now City, Liverpool and Arsenal that are worthy of the top 6 title and we've shown we can beat them all on our day. The College Dropout
Only us Villa and Forest can challenge the status quo. Bournemouths owners are in it for money and Brighton have a ceiling. A relatively low one and limited ambition. Forest and Villa have owners that want genuine success. Any established PL team is only a wise £250m transfer window and a decent manager away from challenging for CL. literally us, Forest and Villa done it. Spurs did it last season. Brighton are doing it this season. Spurs can have multiple £250m windows which is their huge advantage.
