How good/bad are Ireland at the moment?

Can’t say I follow them closely but they’re definitely not good. Hungary are a decent team though. Given Portugal are the other team in this group I would have imagined Ireland had this marked down as a must win/must absolutely not get beat.

Not sure where else to put this, but I find it interesting that a lot of high profile managers are struggling at international level currently..

Tuchel, Nagelsmann, Pochettino & Spalletti, whether you rate them or not, would all be considered top tier club managers that would likely get the top jobs around Europe, and yet each of them are struggling/ struggled to various degrees over the last couple of years.

Its been mooted before, but it's clearer than ever that International and Club management are two completely different entities that require completely different styles of management.

TeamUSMNTFC and Italy are pretty shite in fairness to the latter two but agree on the overall premise.

My country's national side is fucking shite, like. No hiding from that.

I want to root for Elanga but it's funny to me that Sweden badly need their best player in ages to be fit and ready for crucial qualifying games and he chose himself

Cherry Adams scored for the Jocks

Well worked in the end.

So many UEFA qualifiers are like this - one team low blocking and trying to catch the other on the break, the other just knocking it round desperate to find a way through. It’s pretty tedious.
