Real coup by spurs picking up Palhinha. How come Bayern let him go?

Previous manager wanted him the year before he moved from Fulham,  couldn’t get the deal done, manager got sacked, they felt they should go through with the deal, new manager didn’t want/need him.

There is a Father Ted Paraphrase - as long as Liverpool lost and the snake did nothing I am happy and that's all that matters - it has been a fantastic afternoon - I don't even mind the weirdo's down the road winning - in fact I will support them 100% against the tapping up ever so respectful scouse fucktards at every step of their journey. Get to fuck you entitled bellends. :celb:

Is the standard of goalkeeping in the league at an all time low? Seems like most games you watch. A goal goes in and you immediately think ‘keeper should be doing better there.’

A bit like when the game started transitioning to more teams playing it out from the back and defenders were getting stick for just not being able to defend. I wonder if the move to more and more keepers being involved in the build up and being great on the ball. Has led to a drop off in quality in the art of actual goalkeeping? The main attribute being good at actually keeping the ball out the net?!

It absolutely is. A lot of managers have prioritised having a keeper that can contribute to build up play over traditional fundamentals. Means we’re seeing major errors from top team’s keepers all the time when it used to be just the shittest teams regularly

Partly perhaps, but I think the new ball is partly to blame for some of the errors we've seen too.
