Dani Dyer and a Conference League Trophy

Feel like the conference league trophy is going to become a more and more devalued trophy. I’d love to win something in Europe but it’s mad that basically all an English team needs to do is beat the other English teams in the competition

The Olympic stadium move has murdered that club like.

Sure they'll make more money, but it's tore the soul out of them and they'll never get it back.

Modern football all over

At least they can host more music events and potentially the NFL. All that matters.

Calling it the Conference League doesn’t help. Should have just named it the UEFA Cup or the Cup Winner's Cup.

At least then the competition would have had some history to fall back on.

I would’ve been gutted if we’d ended up in it this season. It’s the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy of Europe. Would’ve killed us playing all the extra games too.

West Ham feel that they’ve fucked up a lot of advantages that sort of just fell in their lap. Free stadium, London location, money to spend. £100m homegrown windfall.

Honestly think the Lopetegui appointment is up there on the very competitive list of stupidest decisions made by a Premier League club in recent times.

It felt like the DOF team and the scouts were frustrated that Moyes wasn’t a more progressive manager and it resulted in a weird compromise of a transfer policy - fancy continental purchases like Scamacca, Haller that in no way fit how Moyes wanted to play.

Yet when they had the free hand to appoint his successor they went out and appointed a man that who plays some of the most negative football in Europe.

Don’t think they are allowed to. Only have permission to play football as they don’t technically own it. As far as I’m aware?

I know Sam Fender played there in the summer, no idea about anything else though tbf was just being a dick.

All things considered, I’d imagine that might be West Ham’s worst ever performance in the PL.

You're forgetting about the time Leon Best scored a hat trick against them.

Yeah with being the summer it ain’t theirs so doubt any PSR benefit comes of it. This season I believe they have to move fixtures also as its needed for an athletics competition.

We’ll give you a stadium you’ll love… even if it doesn’t happen overnight. Hopefully a regular ticket also!

Wow I’ve seen some bad teams but this West Ham team is up there with the worst, horrific.

Mate there good, Mackems beat them 3-0 ‘every game is a hard game in the premier league - no matter who you play’

Dreadful MNF tonight.

Can't think of many more depressing sights than watching West Ham on a Monday night at that shit heap. Dull as fuck.

I’d say I’m looking forward to my first trip there a week on Sunday but I’d be lying. Complete atmosphere hoover the way it is set out.

Harsh but you could say the same about Dani Dyer.

I think only one English team gets in, for my memory, it's only contained one English per edition from 2021?-present.

Spurs

West Ham

Villa

Chelsea

Palace this season
