Scottish football could do with Hearts winning the SPL - got to be nearly 40 years now since a non-old firm team last won it - probs either Aberdeen or Dundee United?

41 years this year.

Shirt pull I think. Doesn't even qualify as soft.

Big fan of refs deciding on a whim that shirt pulls are fouls.

No matter what happens in the Hearts vs Rangers game later today, it looks like Celtic's race is run. It's incredible that they enjoy such an embarrassment of riches compared to everyone else in the league (including Rangers) and they're fielding that absolute mess of a squad with a dinosaur manager.

Sorry @martoon, I jinxed it

Just discovered that Guehi played against Salford yesterday.

Being cup-tied not a thing anywhere now?

Apparently changed the rules this year, as we found out recently when Semenyo played for Man City v us.

I thought it was just a League Cup rule, but this piece from Jan 12th talks over the potential Guehi situation with clairvoyance:

This rule could come into practice for last season's winning captain. Crystal Palace and England centre-back Marc Guehi is out of contract this summer and has been linked with a plethora of clubs, including Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal.

Previously, any decision to select Guehi against Macclesfield could have been framed in terms of whether Palace did or didn't want to cup-tie their player in relation to a potential transfer. Now, the fact Guehi played at the Leasing.com Stadium will have no bearing on any transfer before the January deadlines.

I know DJ Onedek gets a slating but at least he’s not as insufferable as this cunt with a megaphone at Arsenal.

Aye I whinge about him, but there’s worse out there. Thankfully he hasn’t started light shows
