I can't explain it, as they both have similar models of club ownership, but Brentford are infinitely more likable than Brighton. I guess its because Brighton seem like the actively want to rim the "big 6" continually. I'm really glad their whole project seems to have stalled.

I don't particularly like it but got a lot of respect for the likes of Brentford, Bournemouth & Brighton. There's a bit of a football snobbery that the likes of Leeds, Sunderland, the Sheffield clubs etc should be in the PL because of their relative histories and fanbases, but those 3 clubs have grafted their arses off to come from lower league to mid-table PL clubs doing something different.

They also don't have tony bloom.

Benham used to work for him, quit and started a business doing the exact same thing. Apparently no love lost between the two.

They seem to have their striker scouting algorithm stuck on the bald and big beard settings, although it’s definitely working for them

I do think there’s snobbery there, but there’s also a debate to be had over what effect their geographical (demographic/socioeconomic?) location has. I’m sick of London derbies tbh.

There are some reasonable looking TV ties, but I can't really be bothered with the FA Cup this weekend. I'll probably watch the Chrlsea match tonight, but will turn it off if/when they go 0-2 up.
