We needed to win by two goals last night to guarantee first place. We basically now just need a point in Bosnia in the final match, assuming Legia win against AZ Alkmaar. We have mathematically qualified already (and had done before last night's game), but we could really do with just forgetting this competition until March or whenever it is. We came very close to the two goal margin with Bailey having a shot bounce down on the line towards the end of the match, but no buzz on the referee's watch. I actually wouldn't be surprised if Legia get kicked out after last night's shenanigans (which, it has been revealed today, involved the club not saying they'd even take the tickets for their fans until two hours before the game, they were clearly in cahoots with their fans to get more of them into the ground).
