It's one of those two. Maybe there's bias when more famous and powerful clubs play against others. See it all the time with Real and PSG as well. Blackburn went 27 games from the start of the season without drawing a league match, then drew 4 in a row, and have won their last 4, so are 8 unbeaten, very much in the playoff picture, as well as making the QF of the FA Cup. Stoke are on the back of that 5-1 win over Sunderland, but they are 11 points clear of the relegation zone, 12 off the playoffs, with only 11 games to go, so realistically their season is effectively over from a meaningful POV (you can get 100/1 for a top 6 finish, or 100/1 to be relegated), but I guess they can try new things, mixt it up, and blood new players etc. Edited March 10, 2023 by Paullow Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
