No idea who she is but what's all that got to do with you?

I'll let you into a secret, SJP is not a creche. Some people around me swear, that Pickford goalie has awful things said against him.

That’s fair, and I agree somewhat. However I believe there is a line somewhere, and I also believe there is a big difference between going to a match and getting involved in the atmosphere, and going to a match with the sole intention to display inappropriate behaviour to gain followers on social media, which includes abusing a number of players. For example she piggy backs on the abuse Saka gets from opposition fans (which is racially motivated) and builds upon it.

Never forget Shola Ameobi was the best finisher at the club in training.

Then Dwight Gayle came along.

Then Jacob Murphy.

Never forget.

If you cut off her revenue stream she'll have the last laugh after she shoves her gash in your face at Diamonds on a Tuesday night.

Why because some fans don’t understand reality?

Sounds like a good reason when you put it like that.

Unfortunately Villa like us have to comply with PSR, so it means prices rises are more likely. It’s further forced when it isn’t clear what part of stadium improvements will be deductible from PSR, which is a reason why Villa have held back on plans to increase their capacity.

Because a lot is happening. Personally I want to hear more about the Ashworth deal. Also I’d like to hear for definite that we are clear of PSR issues and maybe he’ll clarify rumours that the PL blocked/delayed sponsorship deals. Are fans not allowed to have valid questions or concerns without smart arses patronising them as not being able to ‘understand reality’?

Aston Villa also need to increase their revenues as much as we do. I assume they have less levers than us to utilise as well so price hikes on ST is obvious.

We'll need to do the same.

This is a perfect reason to release a statement.

Until yesterday a lot of people were saying "the club would never let us be in a position to NEED to sell at the last hour to meet FFP restrictions". Optimistic Nut called me a prick or a cunt for pointing out that uhhhh... that's definitely happening right now.

I will never buy clubs using PSR as an excuse to fleece their fans. Please read this article.

????

Aston Villa need the additional revenue. It's a fact. If Villa wants to continue to compete at the top end of the league - as the rules stand - they need to generate more revenue than they currently do. Match day income is 1 lever they will need to exploit.

We are in the same boat.

Will delightedly say to myself 'I'm helping PSR!" as I get charged in excess of £80 to attend a PL football match in future then, I guess.

@HaydnNUFC is 100% spot on.  Football has a complete expenditure problem and the way in which PSR is designed etc is not designed to get that under control.

At some point fans will stop paying.

We'll likely be seeing similar next season when the 14 year price freezes stop. My ticket is going up from £550 to £900 it looks like. That's about 4% pa increase back dated 14 years!

of course it is a consequence of PSR, of course matchday revenue will be exploited by rising prices. Only way round it would be some complicated system where income from seats charged above a certain amount wouldn't count somehow

As a neutral I'm finding the Euros a bit boring with bland games. The World Cup is much better with the African and South America countries being involved.
