This is fun/interesting. Top 5 passing clusters for each La Liga Club.

The Barça one is very zen and may seem counter-intuitive given how Flick has us play, but it really isn't if you watch us. We just move the ball quicker in the other areas.

Poor Real Valladolid, can only assume no.1 is passing it back to the keeper, 2 & 3 are him distributing it.

Interesting to see how negative Sevilla's looks, all backwards, all in their own half.

Real’s is basically ‘get it to Vini’

So they didn't simply have another sponsor for a season?

After last seasons ridiculous fake sponsorship they probably couldn't find a real company to give them the same amount. Not a good look to accept a substantially lower deal as that sets market value

Noticed Smith-Rowe was the only English player out of the 22 that started that Fulham-Wolves game.

Doubt the fans of either side are too bothered, but not a great look for PL I would say.

Nelson and Robinson were born in England to be fair and Iwobi and Bassey moved here when they were really young so its probably a bit misleading

From the Fulham side, yeah probably, but not from the Wolves side.

Granted, they were missing Dawson, who would play, but looking at the squad, he seems to be the only English player likely to have much of a chance of starting.

Was 15 years ago the first non English game wasn't it? Not sure why it's suddenly an issue now

Not really an issue as such, but if you were to have multiple teams with hardly any players from the country you’re playing in, I personally think it would take something away from the league.

The top teams are always going to have a reasonable number of ‘home’ players, not least because they’ll buy up all the best young ones, but we don’t want a league where the bottom half is full of teams that were substantially majority foreign.

But like I said it's been regular thing for 25 years, arsenal have fielded a non English team over 150 times in the league ffs

Yes, if the odd team like Arsenal, or nowadays Wolves, do it, it isn’t a major issue. But if we were to see more teams doing it, I think it does become an issue.

I mentioned it because on first glance it looked like you had both teams in that fixture almost exclusively foreign. As mentioned, you can make the case that it wasn’t really the case with Fulham, so not quite as standout as I first thought.

Just a random thought, but what word would you say characterises the stereotype of each fanbase?

Eg, off the top of my head.

Arsenal: Psychotic

Chelsea: Cunts

Everton: Bitter

Liverpool: Sanctimonious

Man United: Arrogant

Us: Deluded

Southampton: Apathetic?
