Having to play 90 minutes every three or four days, the poor darlings.

I know any number of labourers whose hearts are farkin bleeding.

Not to mention soldiers!

Feels like player strikes are a matter of time.

Players need to start putting playing time restrictions in their contract, problem is clubs will respond by offering less money. I’m not sure players would accept a 10% pay cut in return for a 10% cut in games.

Not saying owt new like, but outside of some of the self-employed, footballers are pretty much the only workers I can think of who get anywhere near fairly compensated for the wealth they create like.

Proper typical of human nature that instead of everyone else banding together and demanding that for themselves, they instead just don't want footballers to have it.

Think it'll just be that the top squads end up like Chelsea's. Nothing except protests like we saw when they tried to do the ESL will stop capitalism's inherent need to ruin everything.

Aye.

PSG were also able to take advantage of having a super deep squad and being able to rotate in the league heavily. Inter's old boys ran out of legs.

Every PL side in Europe - bar Chelsea - struggled with the amount of games.

The additional revenue is going to filter into the strongest squads we've ever seen in the sport for a select few.

Inter played the last league games with basically a second team out there despite being in the hunt for the title. They might have ran out of legs but that wasn't due to lack of rotating as they were using their super deep squad in the league games.

Aye, if you're going to have an industry that generates this much money, the players deserve the bulk of it.

Man City reduce ticket prices by 43% on the lowest priced tickets and 22% on the highest. Good to see and shows what can be done when fans get together. Our lot would probably be fuming at this as they believe it’ll hamper any deal for Joao Pedro.

Newcastle sell out their ground though. City give tickets away for free at student parties.
