As a child I came into contact with two child abusers, that I know of. Luckily for me I wasn't a long-term target for either of them, but it could easily have gone that way if I hadn't removed myself from the orbit of at least one of them. One of them wore a suit every day, he killed himself after doing a jail sentence. The other looked like he shopped in the men's section at Marks and Spencers. In your mind dressing like you're in the Rocky Horror Picture Show means its fair to assume mental illness. I'd say it's pretty fair to see that as bigotry or at the very least the result of being canny sheltered like, as much as you've pre-emptively scoffed at that.
