The table is completely the opposite for us to a year ago.

We had 1 win a year ago at this point, 1 defeat now.

-13 goal difference, to +18.

Third worst defensive record to joint best.

We're fucking mint.

10 points from safety us like ?

Could watch Havertz get pushed around by Burn and Murphy at full time all day. Jorginho crying all game was beautiful. Pity Mount didn’t get up ended by someone as he was acting hard as nails at the end too.

Superb and hardworking win - made Chelsea look very ordinary, despite the referee trying to assist them at every opportunity. Last 2mins was a bit crackers, but loved BDB getting into Havertz' face and the rest of the lads backing him up. Me and my old man loving it! :)

Such a turnaround in a year. Mad to believe that we are now 3rd in the league. What a job Eddie and the lads are doing!

Magnificent! :)

In terms of performance vs. pre-season hopes/expectations, have we ever had it this good in the modern era?

I’m generally a miserable, angry worm of a man these days, but I feel genuinely giddy.

Probably last during 2001/02 under SBR.

01/02 if that's sneaks in as modern?

Kept waiting for it to come to an end, for our levels to drop but they never did. The 4-3 over Man United was a rule not the exception.

Pre season expected a midtable slog.

Could say 11/12 under Pardew but there was a cloud of it all going to be squandered hanging over everything, for me at least, which it of course was.
