The Europeometer™ (2024/25) - NUFC Qualify for Conference League (at least)

Villa play Spurs a few days before their final and then Man U a few days after the final. Both teams will probably rest players or be drained after the game. Think it's very likely that Villa win both.

Yeah right now out of city, villa, Chelsea and forest (so excluding us), I would rank it city then Villa then Chelsea then forest in terms of who has the highest chance of getting CL right now.

Villa and Chelsea are the two we need to be worried about.

If we do finish 2nd, it'll be really interesting to see the title odds next season. I bet we'd still be 5th/6th favorites.

Surprised at how far ahead we are of the others at fourth.

I know it's a complete intangible but seeing the Forest owner booting off on the pitch at FT would frighten the life out of me if I was a Forest fan. In isolation it means nothing but it does just reveal how much pressure they're under and how close to the edge they are of losing their collective shit now it's come down to the crunch. That was a massive tell imo and I think they'll really struggle to beat either West Ham or Chelsea now

Hopefully for them Nuno won't mind being publicly undermined by that raving idiot. He's the best thing that's happened to that club in donkeys.

Everyone needs to pump the brakes on the title talk. Maybe things will look differently if we have a perfect summer, but we need to clear the hurdle of playing well every ~3 days before that’s even a realistic dream.

At end of April--taking into account number of games played and relative difficulty of opposition (plus whether home or away)--we were bang on course average points total for fourth place in a Premier League/ship season. Need three more points to hit the average for fourth at end of May/season. Average for third place is 73 points, which we can't now attain, but I think there is/will be relatively lower points totals across the top positions this season.

Whatever happens - a league cup and a potential CL place is incredible. This is Howe's biggest achievement to date IMO.

Cements his position as our best manager in the Premier League for me.

One thing I would say is that - while I'm not wishing points onto Forest - it's probably in our best interests for them to be competitive v Chelsea.

Obviously we can beat Everton and do it ourselves, it's in our own hands. But it'd be nice if a draw was good enough too, which needs Forest still dreaming.

Let’s just get it done next weekend against Arsenal.

I do feel really badly for forest tbf, just a few weeks ago I thought they had CL in the bag, they were third and had way easier fixtures compared to everyone else. They've really dropped the ball, but still a great season for them.

If you ever feel sorry for forest, just imagine Ryan Yates face, then that feeling will easily drift away.

Beat Everton and job done....would absolutely hate it to be left to a game against Everton though, they've thrown up some shit results for us at times when they've been utter shit.
