Kanj
I'd much rather get CL by earning it than by fortunate results from other teams struggling. It's firmly in our hands. Our staff/coaches/players need our support - regardless of who is playing, fit or hurt.

timeEd32
If the crowd and team is up for this in the way they were up for Spurs 6-1, PSG, and the Arsenal semifinal then Everton frankly have no chance. Hopefully there's an early goal and then we make it comfortable because it will definitely get nervy in the second half if we're not winning by 2+. Being in control of our CL qualification on the last day is fucking great considering how we started the year. I'd rather play almost any team but Everton, though. They are shit but, similar to palace, we seem to struggle with their particular brand of shittiness. Add Wolves to that I guess. Everton, Palace, Wolves, and any team that's good, those are the ones to stay away from Everton are far from shit. Moyes has stiffened up the the defense and has the whole team more organised. 3 points from them is definitely not a gimmie. I think the only teams I'd rather have are Leicester or The Saints. Even those games would be banana skins.

Erikse
So if Man City win today, their result vs Fulham doesn't matter to us from a top 5 perspective. It would only matter in terms of getting 3rd vs 4th (or 4th vs 5th should Chelsea somehow absolutely batter Forest). If they win today they will have 68 points. Meaning they will need a draw to secure CL. It’s all going down to the last game regardless.

As in, we’d have to win to overtake them, and if we win it’s effectively all good anyway. Edited 3 hours ago by SteV
