Can't wait until you all get up to speed on the Monty Hall problem

I'll never understand anyone not swapping

Same goes for anyone not breaking out of the Sunken Cost Fallacy once they've been made aware they're in one.

If we can get 9 points from 12, that not only puts us in a great spot points wise but it also sees another calendar month disappearing to the chasing pack.

The more we win, the more the sides below will start to lose belief.

Needless to say, Chelsea and Forest at home should be treated like cup finals.

Lets just hope those 9 points dont come from us losing the next game and winning the 3 after.

Would hate to go on a winning streak again after the things i have learned today.

Ok im done now.

ALWAYS CHANGE DOOR!

I've a friend who refuses to accept this.

Even tried explaining it with the 100 door version and he still wasn't having it.

It's definitely one of those things that's a bit weird and unintuitive. Particularly given the massive difference in odds.

Does this rule also mean Southampton are bound to win their next game, given they’ve failed to win their last 10 or so and just got humped by Brentford?

Or does the bad juju only affect Newcastle wins? Just before I head down the bookies.

Partly to change the subject but also because I'm interested...

I see people quoting 90+% chance of England getting the extra CL spot, where is that from?

If the PL gets the extra place, does the 5th place team need to go through qualifiers or do they go straight into the league stage?

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cn85mr8rnv8o

It's the Opta supercomputer coming up with the 97.8%

And it is straight into the league stage if you finish 5th

After they play Wolves tomorrow, which is not a given then Forest have:

Liverpool

(Southampton)

Bournemouth

Brighton

Fulham

Newcastle

Arsenal

City

If they are still in the top 5 after that then fair play to them.
