Pretty much my view of it too. Not the players fault some people get extremely weird parasocial relationships with them. Nobody on here would bat an eyelid if a colleague quit for a better job elsewhere beyond wishing them well in the future. If it was a particularly good colleague they might even side with them that their employer should have treated them better.

Looked really good when he came on. But he's been really good in all the games for us without looking like scoring. 

 

Still gotta sit out two more games so glad he's getting some match sharpness in for England before he comes back. 

 

Still annoying as fuck he got himself sent off. Let's hope it doesn't cost us still into he next few games. Barnes needs to show more than he has so far while he's still suspended.

Reading this thread and the Burn thread makes me feel what it must have been like when Wrestling went public with Kayfabe and the curtain called happen.

 

Players are going to be mates off the field. Should they be more careful and aware at what might upset our fanbase, maybe. Should that crazed rabid part of every fanbase chill and be a bit more realistic sometimes. Definitely, imo.
