gbandit
Shame for the Ev that all the signs point to him being a world class versatile wing player who has pace, excellent decision making, great crossing from the right and great cutting in on the left. Good thing for them though that they absolutely ripped us off and he’s shitter than shit

Definitely wasn't the absolute dog shit environment and fans hounding of him when in public. Poor shafted Everton fans.

Stottie
Great physical strength on the first goal when it looked like he'd lost it. It adds another dimension to his game and opens up more potential for him playing down the middle when needed. Or at some time in the future, hopefully around 2030, when he's not as quick as he is now. Isak too is much stronger than he looks. The goal Gordon scored himself started with him forcing the keeper into a hurried clearance.

Doesn't get counted by Opta and the like, though FPL does count it, he also has 4 penalties won
Ikon
His anticipation and how quickly he reacts to certain situations is impressive. He reads and reacts to things much quicker than the opposition.

I think the reason they don't count them as assists is that it would then seem like "winning" penalties was intentional. Whereas it's just meant to be a punishment for the opposition. It might encourage more diving or faking from players if winning a penalty counted as an assist.

It’s not exactly Corinthian the idea of ‘winning’ a penalty

Yorkie
Love how much he loves being loved. Compare that to the treatment he got from those feral beasts at Goodison.
Checko
Feels like in a few months at the end of last year and over the summer he lost all the youthful petulance but kept all the determination and aggression. He seems already to be be one of the team leaders. Probably some great man management from Howe [Gordon references this in his interview with Craig Hope], a combination of having to grow up due to moving and having a kid, and his own determination and hard work to improve. He's just been brilliant this year. Brilliant on the pitch. Brilliant in attitude. Edited April 14 by Checko verb conjugation.
KaKa
That moment he stormed off and got annoyed after being subbed as a sub was key as far as Howe's man management goes. Howe didn't over react or throw him under the bus when asked about it. He protected him publicly and dealt with it all behind closed doors. That whole situation could have easily been more of a mess. The way it was handled though, likely garnered even more committment and trust from Gordon that's all a part of him settling down and not being as abrasive. Was ridiculous I've always been told he's meant to be fast, but I don't think I've seen him really use his pace until then. Teams must set up to counter him by playing a bit deeper to negate his pace, and Spurs didn't and we got see him in full flow. Which was nice.
